Health & Hygiene Mentorship at Alpha and Omega 2026

Health & Hygiene Mentorship at Alpha and Omega Primary School

King’s Help Organisation recently conducted a mentorship session at Alpha and Omega Nursery and Primary School in Gganda, Nansana, focusing on promoting good health and hygiene among pupils.

During the interactive session, pupils were guided on the importance of brushing their teeth regularly, maintaining proper bathing habits, and keeping neat at all times. A key highlight was the demonstration of proper handwashing, where learners were encouraged to wash their hands for about 25 seconds—using the fun method of singing the “Happy Birthday” song twice to help them keep time.

The pupils actively participated by answering questions and demonstrating what they learned. To encourage and motivate them, sweets were given to those who participated actively, making the session both educational and enjoyable.

The activity had a positive impact, with many pupils expressing excitement about practicing better hygiene habits in their daily lives. This initiative is part of King’s Help Organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the well-being and development of children in the community.
